I was so happy to receive my order this weekend, of Sapelo products. I wanted to email and thank you for the Seaweed Cleanser you included as a gift. It was so very thoughtful of you, and it was a sweet surprise.
If you will indulge me, I would love to tell you how much I have loved your products. For the past couple of years, I been looking at various skin care products and lines, trying to find something more suitable for my aging skin. Let’s just say, I’m closer to 60 than I am to 50.
For many years I had been a Clinique girl or an Arbonne girl. As I aged, I knew I would need to find something else. I also have very mild rosacea and hypersensitive skin, which sometimes gives me a “reddening” on my face. I first learned of your products last year, as a follower of Suthingirl on social media. As a part-time Lowcountry girl, my interest was piqued.
I did a bit of research and was even more interested when I read the ingredients you use in your products. For most of my life, I have believed the earth, particularly the marshes and plough mud, seawater, and the minerals within, has so much to offer in health benefits and benefits for our skin and hair. Last summer I decided to order several of your sample kits, so I could try your products for an extended time, before making a full purchase. Almost immediately, I noticed a difference. My face, which had often suffered flair ups of redness and rosacea, seemed to “calm down.” The rosacea seemed to stay at bay, very seldom having any of the little red bumps that can sometimes appear. My skin tone seemed to even out and my complexion appeared just a little brighter. I was thrilled! So, as my sample kits dwindled, I knew I would make a full purchase of the 3 Step Recovery System.
Now, I must admit, the cost was more than I was accustomed to paying for my skin care. And, I really wrestled with myself as to whether I wanted to spend what it would cost to have the Sapelo products. But, I knew I had found something that was making a real difference to my skin and complexion. When I needed to replenish a few weeks ago, I went through the same old thing asking myself if I really wanted to spend what these products will cost. I thought to myself: Surely there is something just a good out there for less.
And, I made a decision to try another product…for about 5 days. That was all it took to realize, the “other” pure and organic product I had tried, was nowhere near the quality of Sapelo, and that within just a few days of using it, my skin was suffering. So, I threw it away, and promptly ordered another round of Sapelo products. Yes, for a working girl like me, Sapelo is a luxury, but, more importantly, Sapelo is also a health benefit for my face, and I can easily justify spending the dollars for that type of health benefit.
Thank you for making such a fabulous product, that works wonderfully for my skin. And, thank you again, for including a bottle of Seaweed Cleanser.
